Dear Customers and Staff,
 At
Satterlund Supply Company, our objective has always been
to provide our customers with consistent, high quality
products at competitive prices. Our company team members
aspire to provide the highest level of service possible.
We have always worked with our customers
and our suppliers to improve our products and services.
We are now making this a formal process with implementation
of a quality system plan. This plan documents our methods
for satisfying our customers and will help us to evaluate
our operations in a spirit of continuous improvement.

support the concepts of quality and ask for the commitment
of every employee, as well as our suppliers, to the implementation
of this quality plan.

Company History
 The Satterlund Supply Company was founded
in 1964 by Donald W. Satterlund. Mr. Satterlund was an
amazing businessman with an extraordinary vision. Using
his training in purchasing at Ford Motor Company and
what was then Taylor Engineering, on March 23, 1964 Donald
and his wife Marjorie opened the doors to what would
eventually become Michigan's largest stocking distributor
of domestic pipe, valves, and fittings. Due to his death
in January of 1988, Mr. Satterlund only had the opportunity
to lead his company for 23 years. Although he lived to
see great expansion, Mr. Satterlund would be proud of
the way his company has grown and diversified to meet
the needs of the always changing industrial piping industry.
Today Satterlund Supply is one of the
most highly respected PVF suppliers in the area, supplying
quality products to Michigan, Ohio, Southern Ontario
and beyond. Although having grown tenfold since since
its opening years, Satterlund has found it possible to
offer customer convenience with expansion of products
and inventory while still promoting a "small business/one
on one" atmosphere. The Satterlund Family continues
to operate the business and has enormous pride in continuing
to ground its being on the principals based on the legacy
that Donald W. Satterlund left behind.
We are proud of what we have
accomplished in building such a broad base of customers
in Detroit and surrounding areas. We thank all our customers
for their loyalty, and for giving us the opportunity
to serve them. We look forward to, and anticipate being,
your "Single Source" for all your needs in
the pipe, valve and fittings industry.

Quality System Structure
Satterlund Supply Company strives to exceed
the requirements of our customers' quality programs,
as well as our self-imposed requirements. Our system
is organized in accordance with the ISO 9000 series of
quality standards. Because of the nature of our business,
which is primarily a supplier of products manufactured
by others, we chose to organize our system to the ISO
9003 standard. A model for quality assurance in final
inspection and test. With additional provisions for contract
review activities, we feel the Quality System of Satterlund
Supply Company provides for quality control in all aspects
of operation.
